Environmental issues are getting more pressing throughout the grid. Employees, customers, and stakeholders all grow more aware that what was acceptable in the past cannot be sustained in the future. Insulating Oil is difficult to prevent from leaking – SF6 has been listed as a gas to be banned by the Kyoto protocol. Recycling of equipment using those insulating media are getting more and more complex and expensive. Sustainability must come from other approaches. Our true dry technology does not use any toxic material, does not leak any liquid and can be 100% recycled at end of life.
